Business Development Representative

Our growing business requires Business Development Representative to continue sales growth in our Southern Alberta territory. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing contact with new customers, identifying new opportunities, and following up on potential leads. The Outside Sales Representative will also monitor industry trends in order to identify emerging markets and develop plans to utilize those markets to expand revenue. If you have prior experience in outside sales and a desire to expand your career, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Become a strategic member of the sales team, responsible for identifying new prospects and turning them into customers
  • Attend industry events to accumulate new leads and make productive contact with existing clients
  • Collaborate with the management team to improve marketing materials and expand Sparrow's marketing presence 
  • Develop strategic business skills and stay on top of industry trends to identify opportunities for company growth 

Required Qualifications

  • Passion for technology, marketing, and sales
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and a proven ability to develop rapport with customers
  • 4+ Years of Outside Sales experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Business Administration or related field required
  • Strong computer skills and an understanding of CRM software
